Sugar beets, maybe
Africa is a very large continent, with many climate extremes!. The top crops grown in the world according to FAO, are sugar cane, maize, wheat, rice, potatoes, sugar beets, oil palm, soybean, barely, and tomato!.

I can tell you that all of these grow widely in Africa; I know that they grow at least in my home country!. Maybe all except sugar beets!. Even those grow in Egypt and Morrocco, as evidenced by the link below!. If sugar cane can grow in Africa, who needs sugar beets!? I don't know, maybe you can use this in your argument!.

I think that your position is kind of vulnerable; the other team will obviously get access to this information, and they'll probably destroy your argument very easily!. You might be able to use sugar beets as a case, but you'll have to research strongly on that and try to convince people that sugar beets are superior to sugar cane!. I personally think sugar cane beats sugar beets!.

There is probably no such thing, as africa is an extremely large continent and as such it has many, many, different environments!. If you were talking about specific countries in africa, there are some that cannot grow anything though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should be doing your own research, but I'l point you in the right direction!. Look up Norman Borlaug and his dwarf wheat and by extention the Sasakawa Africa Association!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are so many plants that only grow in certain regions of the world!. This is literally about picking and choosing which one you want to debate!. Do your homework!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Any crop that cannot survive naturally probably shouldn't be grown there!
