Vegetarians, I need a good lentil soup recipe?!


Question: Vegetarians, I need a good lentil soup recipe!?
So, I need a lentil soup recipe! I don't have that many ingridents, I have a smaller bag of lentils, some carrots, celery, I have a bit of an onion that's chopped up, I have some frozen spinach, I don't have any veggie broth, and I have pinto beans, any good soup ideas!? I also have noodles and tomato sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Simple Lentil Soup from your vegetarian kitchen is a hearty classic just waiting for the three ‘T’ s: teeth, tongue and tummy!. Yum!!!

Ingredients:
1 Cup Mirepoix - a mixture of aromatics - Chopped Onion, Celery & Carrots
5 Quarts RO Water
2 Cups Organic Green Lentils
4 Bay Leaves
Sea Salt & Crushed Black Pepper to taste
Juice of ? Lemon Juice

Method:
Put everything in the pot!. Simmer until tender!. Add a splash of Tamari or Sea Salt & Crushed Black Pepper to taste!. Yes, you can add your Tomato Sauce to taste too!. If you have some Italian seasonings use them to taste or Basil and Thyme!.

Lentil Escarole Soup

Lentil Escarole Soup from your vegetarian kitchen is a hearty classic Italian soup, just waiting for the three ‘T’ s: teeth, tongue and tummy!. Yum!!!

Ingredients:
6 Cloves Organic Garlic Minced
4 Stalks Organic Celery Minced
1 Large Organic Spanish Onion Chopped
1 Organic Carrot Chopped
? Cup Olive Oil
3 Quarts RO Water
2 Cups Organic Green Lentils
4 Bay Leaves
1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
? Cup Chopped Fresh Basil
1 tsp!. Fresh Marjoram Leaves
1 Head Organic Escarole Rough Chopped
1 Splash Tamari
Sea Salt & Crushed Black Pepper to taste
Juice of ? Lemon Juice

Method:
Mince the Garlic and Celery!. Chop the Spanish Onion and Organic Carrot!. Sauté in Olive Oil and then add RO Water and the Green Lentils; Bay Leaves!. Cook over Medium heat for 1 hour!. Add the Crushed Tomatoes and the fresh Fresh Basil and Marjoram Leaves as well as the Shredded Organic Escarole!. Simmer until tender!. Add a splash of Tamari, Sea Salt & Crushed Black Pepper to taste!. Drizzle the top of each bowl a small amount of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and fresh Lemon Juice!.
Serve with our Pimiento Rustica Bread!.

Save your Pinto Beans and Noodles for another dish another time!.

tomato sauce
1 jar salsa
simmer all items together until soft

you can put soup/stew over elbow macaroni or other small pasta for a heartier meal!.
