Answers:
To answer your first question, there is more protein in meat than the iron!. There is no such thing as a protein tablet!.

However, you must remember that you will be able to get all the protein you need by keeping your diet varied!. This includes your other nutrients (your vitamins and minerals), including iron!. Use vegetarianism as an opportunity to try various different nuts, veggies, fruits, legumes, and grains, and you will notice that you aren't missing anything!.

More protein, but you can get protein from other sources!. If you are still eating fish and seafood, you can get protein from that!. Nuts, seeds, rice, beans, eggs, and soy products (eg!. tofu) also have high protein as do most dairy products!. Whenever you decide to cut a certain food group out of your diet, you should educate yourself on the implications before doing so!. I have a fantastic book called "Nutrition Almanac" that provides all of the nutritional details of most foods, and is very helpful to ensure balanced diet!. It tells you how much protein you should have in a day and then you can work out how much you are getting with the foods you are already eating!. From there, you can decide if you need supplements or not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
