I am confused on this Veggie Thing.?!

Question: I am confused on this Veggie Thing!.!?
Why would cheese have to be fake!?
You get milk from a cow naturally!.
You make cheese from this milk!.
You don't have to kill the cow to get the milk to make the cheese!.

So why would milk, cheese and dairy products be considered off of a veggies menu!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Thanks for posting this!. I tried emailing you the answer (you posted this on my question), but you don't accept email!.

1!. Cheese is curdled from milk using rennet, which is an enzyme that is removed from a cow's stomach (and no, not a live cow)!.

2!. The dairy industry is arguably worse than the meat industry!. Dairy cows are kept in a constant state of pregnancy to help keep the milk flowing and production of beef up!. The female calves become dairy cows, while the males become veal cows!. Additionally, the udders on the cow become infected and pus-filled, and all that delicious pus makes its way to the milk!. The cow isn't exactly thrilled!. At the end of its life, it is slaughtered!.

3!. I am not a vegetarian, but a vegan!. Vegans do not eat animal by-products, to include milk, eggs, and honey!. While there are ethical reasons to do this, I am mostly doing it for my health!. Things like high fructose corn syrup and various preservatives are all vegan, but that doesn't mean they're healthy!.

Milk from a cow is not natural!.
First of all, the only mammal on the planet to consume milk after the baby stage are humans!. The only mammal on the planet to consume the milk of another animal are humans!. Milk is not needed after you have stopped suckling your mother's nipples!.

Second, female mammals only produce milk when they are with baby!. So, that's how they make milk, 'make' the cow pregnant, take the baby away (the male babies are killed and the females made into other other dairy producers -- they are raped or artificially inseminated)!. Injected hormones are used to sustain this milk production -- and may also be used to get is started in the first place without any baby!.

They take as much milk as they can from these cows!. The cows are sucked dry -- it takes a lot of energy to produce milk, so the cows are usually done for after about a year or so (still babies) when free roaming healthy cows will live, what, thirty odd years!?

There are dairy farms down the street from where I live!. They are constantly producing babies all year around!. The male babies are killed and made into cat food!.

It's no different than the chicken factories, except the product is milk instead of eggs!. The male chics are thrown straight into the grinder while the females are thrown the other way to become egg producers!. Whether or not these animals are treated nicely or humanely is no matter, they are still born slaves, live as slaves, and are killed after a very short life!.

What a lot of people are unaware of, also, is that the rennet that cheese is made with often comes from the stomach of slaughtered calves, kids, or lambs (depending on which milk is used)!. This is definitely something to avoid for a vegetarian as well as a vegan!.

Cows are routinely impregnated to continue the milk flow, and those male calves are sent to become veal!. As said before, if you support the dairy industry, you support the veal industry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dairy cows are injected with hormones and antibiotics, and their food is laced with pesticides!. (This is to decrease the amount of insects attracted to their feces, a major problem in industrial dairies!.) Residue from the hormones, antibiotics and pesticides are found in milk!. These have been linked to cancer and compromised immune systems!.

Cows have to be impregnated to give milk, just like people!. If the resulting calf is male, it is sold for veal!. Milking by machine, which all dairies do, leads to mastitis, which adds a healthy dose of pus to your dairy beverage!.

Well veg@ns like myself and some vegetarians choose not to consume dairy products for multiple reasons!.

~Some are

*Religious reasons
*The belief that dairy is unnatural
*Cows are exploited during the milking process
*Dairy is unhealthy

and a few different reasons!. I don't consume dairy because of all of them except the first one!. It's a personal choice that some just can't understand, I hope you aren't one of those people!.

cheese has rennet which is the lining of a calf's stomach, and when the mom cow has her calf, the calf is sold to slaughter and the mom cow is sucked dry, then impregnated again!.!.so on and so forth
