What are some good vegetarian foods out there?!
I'm 14 and have been vegetarian for 3 months!. I wanted to become vegetarian to make a difference, my parents support me, they just want me to eat healthy amounts of food, what are good protein substitutions aside from meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i have been a vegetarian for 6 months!. here is what i eat!.!.!.!.!.
-boca burgers (taste like a cheeseburger but without the meat!)
-veggie burgers (Burger King sells the best!)
- veggie ribblets (mini ribs without the meat but they taste just like regular ribs!. PERSONAL FAV)
- veggie bites (its like chicken breading with artechokes and cheese in the middle)
-tofu (full of protein and tastes great!)
-fish (tastes like chicken and it is full of protein!)

Vegetables and beans are sources of protein, with the higher sources of animo acids (the protein building blocks) coming from soy (including soy milk and tofu), quinoa (a grain-like fruit similar to couscous), amaranth (a grain), hemp seed (a seed), and buckwheat (a grain)!. As long as you consume a well-rounded diet made of lots of veggies, fruits, legumes, nuts, and grains, you won't have any problems!. Additionally, if you are vegetarian and not vegan, eggs and dairy have all the aminos you need as well!. If you're doing this to "make a difference" like you said, consider giving up eggs and dairy because those animals are treated even worse (slaughtered at the end of their abused, slave-like lives)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
quinoa it is a grain high in protein it is prepared like rice two cups of water to 1 cup of quinoa!. It is a favorite food of mine!. I like it with salsa and boca burger mixed in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Tofu tofu tofu!. It's one of the most versatile foods out there!. Grill it, steam it, fry it, eat it raw in salads, anything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
