I'm making brownies, but refuse to use eggs?!

Question: I'm making brownies, but refuse to use eggs!?
I'm making brownies from a box and am a vegetarian!. (I consider eggs meat, and I am still consuming milk and cheese, so I'm not a vegan!.) So, what should I use instead!? I have some Ener-G, but the last time I baked with that it didn't turn out the greatest!.!.!.

Thanks for your help!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
applesauce or prunes (pureed) work really well!. If you use prunes use like a 1/3 -1/2 c!. because otherwise the brownies will turn out really really moist!. But, I use applesauce for boxed brownies usually, and pureed prunes for from scratch things!.

Someone mentioned applesauce, my understanding is, that is a substitute for oil, not eggs!. I don't know what you can use instead of eggs, but if you want, go ahead and leave them out!. You might end up with chocolate bricks though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can mash up or blend about a half a banana or 1/4 cup applesauce or puree fruit to use as an egg substitute!. Tofu (2 oz) is a really great substitute for eggs when you're making dishes like quiches, fritattas, etc!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's always egg replacer!. You can usually find it at your local health food store!. also, if you use replacer, use more then it says!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try using a Diet Coke out of a can!. I have made Chocolate cake that way!. pore it out of the box into a bowel put in the diet coke and mix it up !. Put it in a pan and bake it Www@FoodAQ@Com
