Does Walmart have any of these foods?!

Question: Does Walmart have any of these foods!?
Answers:
Yes!. Walmart Neighborhood Mart does, and I'm sure the Super Walmarts do too!. But, try 8th Continent soymilk, instead of Silk (it's MUCH better)!. You can find the soy cheeses in the refrigerated section of the produce department !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Ignore the other poster!. Soy is EXCELLENT for you and extremely healthy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm sorry I don't know as we don't have Walmart where I live!.

I just wanted to comment on the first answer!.

Soya proteins contain isoflavones that can mimic a weak oestrogen effect!. It's not the same as the oestrogen your own body makes though - it is 1,000 times weaker than your own body's oestrogen, but it's this that has led to concerns (and rumour) about oestrogen dependent cancer

In fact there is no actual scientific evidence that soya causes, prevents, contributes to or affects the progress of any cancer, including oestrogen positive breast cancer, which is the one most often cited!. There are those in the field who argue that isoflavones may be of help in preventing breast cancer or be beneficial to women who have had breast cancer!.

There is current research into whether increasing phyto oestrogens in the diet helps to prevent breast or prostate cancer, and a study in 2002 found that women with the highest levels of soya products in their diets had the lowest breast density - higher breast density being associated with higher breast cancer risk!. This is the first time that soya has been found to have a direct effect on breast tissue!.

Women with the highest levels of isoflavones in their diet are reported to have significant risk reductions for uterine cancer!.

Edit* don't know who Dr Oz is, but he's wrong about milk - there's no proven link between that and cancer either, including breast cancer!. A diet high in dairy is thought to be a possible risk factor for prostate cancer (not a cause, and not conclusively proven) and that's all!.

To thumbs - downers: all the information I've given can be verified on Breastcancer!.org and cancerresearchuk!.org, both reputable sources of cancer information!.

Edit* Candice, I too developed breast cancer after many years of soya milk drinking; but also after many years of eating, drinking and doing many other things!. Nobody yet knows what causes it, soya isn't a known risk factor, and no food or drink has been proven to cause any type of cancer!.

I have a huge mistrust of Mercola because his motive seems primarily to be selling supplements, for which he makes unsubstantiated - and indeed on occasion illegal - claims!.

I didn't give you thumbs-down, btw; I reserve that for offensive answers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes but try the health food stores in your area because they have more than walmart!. Walmarts doesn't have a lot of variety like the health food stores does and the regular grocery stores like Krogers!. oh about soy products I also agree about the soy , but it's way better than that cows or any other animal milk, but I will say this there are other vegan alternatives for protein source you know!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't eat soy if I were you!.
It's linked to breast cancer!.
A much healthier way to get your protein: http://www!.vitacost!.com/Nutiva-Organic-H!.!.!.

Edit because of the thumb downs: I'm skeptical about soy because a family friend of mine has been drinking soy milk since 1980 or perhaps earlier!. She then developed breast cancer in the 1990's! Sure, it could have been due to other factors besides the soy, but you never know!.!.!.!.Mercola says fermented soy is only good for us!. Tofu and other American soy products are made with unfermented soy!. A VERY good article by Dr!. Mercola on the safety of Soy: http://articles!.mercola!.com/sites/articl!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I haven't seen those at any Walmart stores that I've went to! Note: Dr!. Oz on Oprah says cancer link to cancer from soya isn't a valid study!. He said regular milk has more chance to cause cancer! He recommends many soya products!Www@FoodAQ@Com
