Do vegans eat bread.?!
I was just wondering, since bread contains both egg and milk!. If they don't, then what do they eat in replacement I'm honestly curious; I recently became vegetarian, so I've been wondering about vegans as well!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bread rarely contains egg!. It sometimes contains milk in the form of whey powder!. It's essentially made of wheat flour, vegetable oil, yeast and water!.
There are some concerns about the processes used to make bread, though!. I've heard gelatin can be used to remove wheat grains from their husks, and that chicken feathers are sometimes used in the milling process!. The additives sometimes used raise some issues as well!. Bread often has things like niacin and thiamin added to it (initially during the depression after WWII, to stave off malnutrition when people couldn't afford to eat properly) but they're still added now, despite not being in the same financial climate!.
There is labelling on a lot of products in the West now, but sometimes they can be deceptive!. If you're not too concerned about being 'pure' and just want to give veganism a shot, I wouldn't give it too much thought for now!.
Personally, I avoid wheat because the methods used to farm it aren't exactly very in tune with nature, and I'm concerned about what actually goes into bread flour!.
Bread is essentially carbohydates - energy!. There are dozens of staple foods that you can get carbs from - rice, oats, rhy, potatoes!.!.!. all sorts of things!. also fruit has a lot of energy in a slightly different form, that I'm appreciating a lot more now I'm aiming for a raw food diet!. You don't have to eat bread, by any means!. There are lots of other options!.
Hope that helps!

Bread needs neither milk nor eggs to make it!. Many commercial breads do have milk (or more commonly, whey) but hardly any of them have egg!. Honey is also a bread ingredient that vegans watch out for!. Basically, we eat bread, we just look for varities that have no animal ingredients!. There are plenty of them out there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Bread doesn't always contain egg and milk!. I'm veggie, not vegan, but most of the bread that I consume is free from animal products!.
Bread alternatives include whole grains, pasta, potatoes, crackers, and any other starch!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
