Has anyone here ever undergone Juice Fasting?!
Juice fasting, no eating of anything for 2 days and drinking nothing but Fresh fruit and Veggie juice and water of course!. I am going to start mine tomorrow, but i want some questions answered:
(1) did u need to do anything prior to the juice fast!?
(2) during the fast, what did u do to deal with hunger pains, if any!?
(3) During the fast what problems arose!?
(4) After the fast, when did u start to eat regular food again
(5) After the fast, was it worth it!? Did u feel any difference!?

Answers:
1) I didn't do anything special prior to the fast
2) I just kept drinking more juice to curb the hunger pains!. I drank 5-7 pint glasses of juice per day!. After the 2nd day, I wasn't hungry, anyway!.
3) I got a migraine headache 2 days into the fast!. I attributed this to caffeine/sugar withdrawal!. After the 7th day, I got a little shaky!. I ended the fast after 7 days!.
4) I very slowly worked my way up to regular foods!. I recommend starting with eating fresh vegetables and rice!. Nibble a little the first day!. Continue with the juice!. Spend about 4 days working up to solid food!.
5) During the fast, colors became more vivid and my eyesight improved!. I felt very good during and after the fast!. Yes, it was worth it!. I highly recommend it to anyone!. And, I hope to go on many more fasts!.
I also recommend limiting your fruit juice to one glass per day!. Fruit juice is high in sugar!. Stick with the vegetable juice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are many kinds of juice fasting (like grape fasting etc!.)!.
1!. Yes!. For the 2-3 previous days, I ate light meals (for the most steamed vegetables, like broccoli and carrots)
2!. You can drink carrot juice with celery - this will satisfy your hunger
3!. Just a bit of dizziness and a little hunger, that's all
4!. The first morning, break your fast with a banana!. Then drink water with lemon!. Continue with soups and the next day with steamed vegetables!. Then continue as normal!.

1!. You should cut you eating down slowly a couple of days before the fast, as this doesn't shock your digestive system, by having big meals then just stopping!.
2!. Drink more juice when you get hungry!.
3!. You could get a bit anxious as the fast will raise your mental awareness and you might not be ready for it!. If that happens, just relax, and by being aware that it could happen, it probably won't!. It usally happens on longer fast anyway!. Oh and don't forget the "detox" headache!.
4!. After the fast start having soups and fruit, then veggies and a day later start introducing food slowly!.

I've went on juice fasts!. Betty above has very good advice!. The only thing I would add is try a one or two day fast your first time!.
A fast is good for giving your tummy a break, but it is mostly for your speritual side, so read and do some meditation also!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
