What is the difference between vegans and vegatarians?!


Question: What is the difference between vegans and vegatarians!?
I have two friends coming over for dinner next week, and one is vegetarian and one is vegan!.!.!.!.

what is the difference between the two!?

Vegetarians don't eat flesh or slaughter byproducts!. Vegans don't eat anything of animal origin whatsoever!. Allergies notwithstanding, a vegan meal is appropriate for a vegetarian (but not vice-versa!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians don't eat meat, such as pork, chicken, beef, fish, etc!.

Vegans, on the other hand, do not eat meat, nor do they eat anything that comes from meat sources, such as eggs or milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegans do not eat any animal products, including gelatin and honey!. Any thing made for a vegan will be appropriate for a vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
