i wouldent worry at all, id say your still a vegetarian =)!. When i became vegan i let myself continue to wear the leather tennis shoes i had, since its just not economical to throw them out, and yes waste the animal!. I did the same thing with any animals product foods in my house!. As long as you do not replace the non-veggie things once their gone, your not supporting the meat buisness because you alredy bought and supported the product!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not wrong per se, but you have to think about what kind of precedent it sets for you!. If someone accidently messes up your order in a restaurant, are you going to eat it anyway because it's wasteful!? Or, if you're at someone's house and forget to mention that you're veg, would you also consume the food, just to be polite!? or to not waste!. Or if some meat were to accidently fall into your food because of carelessness, would you be ok with that!?

I'm not saying any of this to be judgemental, but these are situations that you will encounter being veg!. You need to decide where to draw the line!.

Me, personally, I would have given it away to a neighbor or friend!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Part of being vegetarian (for me) is believing that factory farms are terrible places, and should not exist!. Thus, even if meat is going to waste, I do not eat it, as an example to others!. You would not believe how many people have changed their diets and/or become very aware of the truth about meat, thanks to me not eating it!.

However, you are new at this!. Don't fret, but let it be a lesson to you!. When I first turned vegetarian (really pescetarian) I had meat once a month, finding it very hard to say no in social situations!. I was ashamed of what I was, and was afraid people wouldn't understand!.

But I slowly began to embrace my beliefs and back them up with tons of research!. Now I am an ovo-vegetarian (a year and some months later)!. I eat no meat at all, and have not had any fish in 10 or more months!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It seems odd!. There was no one to give frozen meat to!? There's no meat that would last 2 weeks in the fridge!. You should have eaten the meat and then started vegetarianism!.

I have no problem with you eating the meat but since it had to be frozen, it wasn't going anywhere!. You would have a couple of months to find someone to give it to if it really mattered to you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no you didnt waste an animal!.
i had to finish my lactaid milk before i went vegan (had to wait a whole week) but you don't want to waste food!

yay for goin vegetarian!!

you may want to give in to temptations but it gets easier! i couldnt imagine eating meat at this point!. or like!.!. when i was only 1 year in!. the urge is gone!. Now i'm trying to not give into eating PIZZA!. lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The meat would have gone to waste!. Many people have "lapses" in their vegetarianism, either eating something knowingly or unknowingly un-vegetarian!. This event is now in the past, continue with the diet you have chosen and don't feel bad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i did that to, i had some frozen meals and did not want to waste them so i ate them and started my vegetarian lifestyle after i did!. when you think about it, if you had thrown the meat away part of the animal would have died for no reasonWww@FoodAQ@Com

Give it away!. Cook it for someone and bring them a pre cooked meal!. Donate it to a church etc!. Have a party!. I chant Mantras when I cook meat for friends and family!. I chant over every meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A very small percentage of people's thoughts and opinions are actually wrong!. It's hard to be wrong nowadays!. It was wrong if you think it was!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Umm!. !. !. You could've buried it!. Poor thing gets chopped up and people think it's the right thing to do to eat it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

it's good not to waste food but i think it's better for you to not have any meats anymore so there's no leftovers!.way to go girl!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That depends on why you became a vegetarian!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its not wrong at all!. That animal would have went to waste, for nothing!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

You did the right thing, you didn't waste it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think it was wrong:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

dont worry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

what you did was the right thing to do!.

it was not the vegetarian thing to do!.

vegetarians do not eat meat, period!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gee, stress much!? BFD, you ate some meat after you were a vegetarian!. Get over yourself and go on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
