Do true vegans eat gummy lollies?!

Question: Do true vegans eat gummy lollies!?
Answers:
Most gummy candys aren't vegetarian!. Candy corn isn't, unless you buy the kind made by Jelly Belly (everything Jelly belly is vegetarian!. Not true of all jelly bean brands)
Marshmallows, including things like Peeps, aren't vegetarian!. However marshmallow cream and fluff are vegetarian (if you like S'mores, which I adore, you can make them with fluff, wrap them in foil and stick them in the fire!.)

Junior mints, Starbursts, and Skittles aren't vegetarian!. Skittles gum is safe, though!. Some gums aren't (look for gelatin in the ingrediant list)
All Hostess products (twinkies, cupcakes, etc) say that they might be made with beef fat, so I avoid those!.

Of everything that I've changed since becoming vegetarian, it's getting rid of gelatin that is the hardest!. It's in most yogurts (if you like yogurt look for ones with pectin, usually organic or in the health food aisle) Jello, many candies!. Yesterday i even found it on the label for soup!.

It's already been said,!.!.!.gummies are not usually veg/vegan because of gelatin!. There are some gummies out there though that do not contain gelatin!. Whole foods just put gummies in their bulk section a about 6 months ago and I was so excited!. You can also try www!.foodfight!.com, the gummies that they have are extremely sweet and a little pricey for the small box that you get but they are so sweet that you can only have two at a time anyway!Www@FoodAQ@Com

well mostly not because most gummi lollies contain gelatin, which is an animal product!.

and vegans don't eat animals!.

but if they do not contain any animal products then yes vegans can eat themWww@FoodAQ@Com

Only if the can find once which are suitable for vegans!.Luckily some of the health-food stores in Germany stock a gelatin free version which uses starch or pectin instead!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, not if they contain gelatin or the red food coloring cochineal or the glaze shellac!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

most contain gelatin!. so if they have gelatin we don't eat themWww@FoodAQ@Com
