Do most of you agree?!

Question: Do most of you agree!?
Do most of you agree that being a vegetarian, or even vegan can be either a diet or a lifestyle!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I think that vegetarianism can be either a diet or a lifestyle!. But veganism, by definition, extends beyond diet!. If you simply cut out all animal products from your diet, but continue to purchase leather and use animal-tested cosmetics, you are a strict vegetarian but you are not a vegan!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd say that vegetarianism is a diet, since the official definition of vegetarianism is only about what one does or does not eat!. (By "diet", I mean "way of eating", not "weight-loss scheme"!.)

And I'd say that veganism is a lifestyle, since it covers not only diet but a host of other things -- including not wearing wool or silk, or using leather products!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I absolutely agree! It is a better diet because you do not have a lot of hormones and God knows what they are injecting in the meats or feeding the animals these days and
it is a better lifestyle because your are now more well aware of what you are putting into your body!.
So, I think it is a mix of both!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarianism is often just a way of eating, but it also sometimes accompanies the way of living/morals!. Vegan-ism however is 100% a life choice, and it can't be turned off and on as vegetarianism often is by celebrities in order to lose weight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

vegetarian is a diet
veganism is a lifestyle!.

a vegetarian doesn't eat meat, that's it!.
a vegan doesn't use products that were tested on animals, or eat anything from an animal or wear any fur or leather!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, it is a lifestyle for me, and i have a passion for animals!. i realize though, that not everyone shares my passion and just do it to be healthier!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegan is both!. Vegetarian is diet only!. It doesn't matter what anybody thinks!. There are definitions for those words!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, if you take it further than just being another personal dietary choice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your diet is your lifestyle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
