Answers:
a) make your favourite dishes but replace the meat with Quorn or tofu, it tastes really good and is sooooo much healthier for you!
Make sure you don't over-do the cheese though!.!.!.a lot of veggie dishes include cheese rather than meat which isn't healthy for you!.
Tex-mex recipes are good as they use a lot of beans, brilliant source of protein!. Try veggie burritos or veggie fajitas!.
For a nice winter warmer, buy a large yorkshire pudding and fill with new potatoes, quorn sausages and veggies and top with vegie gravy!.
Italian recipes good too, pasta is good for you but avoid the creamy and cheese sauces!.
b) watch your iron!. It mainly comes from meat so you could possibly do with taking an iron supplement as you adjut to your new diet!.
I've been veggie for 18 years now and once you learn how to create a balanced and nutritious diet, you won't need any supplements!.
Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

a) you can eat tons and tons of food, e!.g!. pasta, tacos filled with vegetarian chili, tofu stir fry and rice, mac and cheese, vegetable soup, spinach and cheese pastries, veggie burritos, veggie burgers, tofu dogs etc!. Many vegetarians like pretend "meat" to use to replace food they used to eat!.

b) You can get iron/protein from: legumes, tofu, veggie burgers, nuts, you can get omega3 from walnuts and canola oil, and iodine from dairy/eggs or supplements!.

Good luck =DWww@FoodAQ@Com

Meal ideas:
Go to walmart, they have a section with only vegetarian FAKE meat!.
It's yummy :))

also, don't lack protein, or vitamin b12!.(you'll become very tired)

And the only thing that could be a problem is becoming anemic!.

You most likely won't die from it, but it isn't healthy!.

Take vitamins! :PWww@FoodAQ@Com

You are sitting in front of a powerful research tool-use it!. We don't know your tastes in food and not all vegetarians eat the same diet, just like omnivores!. I could tell you to use soy milk and eat a lot of beans and totally turn you off!. I don't take vitamins because I eat large amounts of various veggies and fruits but you may prefer to eat all junk food and need some nutritional help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

what you need to know is that you should eat plenty of raw fruit and vegetables, as these will have all of your vitamin and mineral needs!.

the reason why i say raw is that raw fruits and vegetables contain enzymes which helps digest itself, where if it is cooked it won't have the enzymes
