By "Jelly" do you mean jam/preservatives (what the term means in the US)!? Or do you mean gelatin (what the term means in the UK)!?
I'm assuming you don't mean the US version, since this product should almost never contain animal products!. It's either pure fruit (with maybe sugar) or contains pectin (which is a fruit product)!.
If you mean the UK definition, then you are correct!. Most gelatins are made from animal products!. If you want something vegan, you'll need to find something that's based on, say, agar!. I don't know what commercial products are available where you live, but you may need to look to health food store or a store that focuses on Asian products!. also look for Kosher!.

If your in england i can help but if not this is probably meaningless to you!.
i have never found packet jelly ( as in the stuff you make yourself with boiling water) that is veggie friendly!.
However, i have found that the pre-made pots of jelly are usually gelatin free!. Its more likely to be ok it the product is organic or suchlike!.
I hope you find your jelly!
mmmmmmmm jelly!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Kosher != (does not equal) vegetarian, it comes from cows instead
I'm in the US, but I've found going to middle eastern/indian stores would have it, it's based on seaweed instead!. Or, you can try pretty much any ethnic stores!. You can also try going online, since they come as a powder, so shipping isn't so bad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

OK so we are talking UK Jelly (US Jello) here!. You CAN buy a veggie form of this; it uses pectin as a setting agent!. However beware it doesn't set as well and remains slightly runny!.
Try this - it's a powder format:

Jam and jelly is made with pectin and sugar !. Pectin is a fruit based product !. There aren't any pork products in jam and jelly!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
There is at least one rowntrees jelly in a pot which is suitable; have you asked at a health food shop as that's where we can buy sachets (in England)Www@FoodAQ@Com
If I were you I wouldn't use jelly!. It's pretty useless, nutritionally speaking!. I'd use fruit preserves instead!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
