What's better meat eater or vegan?!
I'm a vegan but I have only been on yahoo for 1 day and I'm finding a lot of things that a not quite correct!.
I have grown up in a vegan home and I have a lot of first hand experience with veganism!.
As far as health goes a vegan whom does not eat fruit and vegetables is not going to be as healthy as a meat eater that does!.
So the people that fight the vegans could have a point!.!.!.if!.!.!.!.they are eating fruit and veg!.
So!.!.!.just to clarify what I just said:
A meat eater who eats fruit a vegetables is healthier than a vegan who does not!.
What do you think!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegan is best as long as their diet contains plenty of fruits and vegetables, preferably raw!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
The answer to your specific question is: defintely!. Veganism is an extreme diet, and although it is possible to be healthy if you're smart about what you eat (fruits, vegetables, and, most importantly, reliable sources of protein and fat, which are very difficult to get regularly and in sufficient qualities without animal products), and, likewise, a vegan who is mindful about their diet is likely to be healthier than a meat-eater who is not (vegans who live on a variety of fruits, veggies, and complete proteins are likely to live longer than a meat-eater who lives on fast food gut-busting burgers, fries, and milkshakes)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
the vegan diet is usually the best as most vegans do eat a lot of fruit and vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
A REAL vegan is best!.

Someone becomes a vegan either to save animals or for health, or both, but usually one is stronger than the other!.
But what is the point if you are not going to be healthy!. i agree with you, I have a lot of Italian friends and they eat meat but also eat a lot of salads and fruit!. They are a lot healthier than some veggies I know!.
Yes I'm a vegan too, but I eat a lot of fruit and veg and try to not have those fake burgers as they are full of fat!.
You go Doll, and welcome!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Assuming that all other thing are equal (no smoking, underlying medical condition, pollution free/low pollution etc), any person who eats a well balanced diet and gets even minimal exercise is bound to be healthier than a person who doesn't have either whether vegetarian, vegan or omnivore!. There are healthy omnis and vegetarians and vegans!. There are omnis who get cancer and there are vegetarians/vegans who also get cancer!. A heavy smoking vegetarian/vegan is risking his health just as much as a heavy meat diet omni!.
I think it is ridiculous and hypocritical for some vegetarians/vegans to generalize and stereotype an omnivorous diet/person as unhealthy and overloaded with meat/fat when they complain all the time about the so called vegetarian/vegan "myths and stereotypes" (preachy, pale, weak etc) make about them!. Remember that a person who eats meat even just once a month is still an omni and not a vegetarian/vegan
Consider Japan and the Mediterranean countries who are considered some of the healthiest societies in the world!. They have high fruit and vegetable consumption true!. But they also consume enormous amounts of fish/seafood and are by no means considered vegetarian/vegan majority societies!. On the other end, you take India which has a high population of vegetarians yet suffer from low life expectancies and high infant mortality rates!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
