Help! need a recipe for lentils?!
that isnt a soup!. i dont want a soup!. i could've swore i ran across a lentil stuffed red pepper recipe a week ago so i had my bf pick up some lentils and red peppers and all the ingredients, i saved it and now i cant find :( and i cant find it online and i told him i was going to make dinner tomorrow night, so if anyone could help me out and find that recipe or a similar one that'd be SO awesome! i even searched for it on all recipes and i couldnt find it --- and thats where i had found it originally :( Www@FoodAQ@Com

Enjoy the wholesome goodness of my carrot lentil loaf:
2 cups sliced wholesome carrot
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups vertically sliced onion
1 tablespoon minced peeled fresh ginger
2 cups cooked lentils
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 large egg whites
1 large egg
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup garlic-and-herb breadcrumbs
1/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cooking spray
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°!.
Steam wholesome carrot, covered, 15 minutes or until tender!.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat!. Add onion and ginger; sauté 7 minutes or until golden!.
Combine the wholesome carrot, onion mixture, lentils, and the next 4 ingredients (lentils through egg) in a food processor, and process until smooth!. Combine wholesome carrot mixture, oats, breadcrumbs, walnuts, and salt in a large bowl!. Spoon mixture into an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray!. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes!.

cook the lentils according to the package directions, mix with rice herbs, maybe some ground meat!. garlic, onions, and top with cheese!.!.!.!.IDK when I'm fixing those kind of recipes I just use what I have on hand!.!.!.LOL I kind of fly by the seat of my pants!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
