Vegans who own guns ?!
I've been a vegan for awhile now and I started out as a vegetarian but it was not all that long ago I ate and consumed animal products!. I own two guns right now and plan to get more over my life I don't think being vegan means you can't be willing to defend yourself or just go to the range to have fun I love going to the range I got the guns before I was even vegetarian but I did not hunt I just liked going to the range and such so I was just wondering how other vegans or vegetarians feel about guns!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
This is fine! You have every right to defend yourself!. All animals will defend themselves!. It's not like you are going to go out and kill something on purpose!. Shooting in itself is not bad!. It is when you shoot an animal when it turns bad!. If you killed in self defense I doubt anyone would hold that against you!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Vegetarians only need to worry about food!. Animal rights activist and vegetarian are necessarily synonymous!. As long as the vegetarians don't try to eat the guns or the ammo or any animal killed with the guns, vegetarianism has been satisfied!. Vegans however cannot kill animals, unless attacked of course!.
I don't think the ownership of firearms is an issue, it's the usage of those firearms that comes into play!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Totally not related!. So you want to protect yourself and you have fun at a range (it's basically playing a game)!. Besides, if you have a gun, it's better that you know how to fire it with practice than hoping that when the time is right that it works!. As long as it's kept out of reach of children, no issues!.
There's a town in Texas where 80% own guns!. Lowest crime rate in the country!.
So, um, yea, have fun :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would hope you are not hunting animals for sport!. If you are carrying a gun for self-defense (against humans or animals), then I don't see anything wrong with that from a dietary perspective!. Of course, I think it's a bad idea for other reasons, but those have nothing to do with V/V!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I dunno!.!.!.
I don't think that gun-owning had much to do with dietary choices!.
But I'm guessing the answers vary among vegans!. Some might enjoy carrying guns and target-shooting real people, while others might think guns are wrong!. There's a wide range of people out there!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think that vegetarians and vegans are just titles so what ever you believe in that's what you should do!. i sure hope that you dint kill poor innocent animals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
you care more about animals than humans!. tsk tsk!. i know ur intention of owning guns is not to hurt som1 intentionally, and for self defense!.!.!.but keep in mind u mite not be the only1 who is capable of having access to ur weapons!. human cruelty is far worst than animal cruelty!. u mite as well slaughter ur neighbor and eat him for dinner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
