Answers:
Sodium Stearoyl-2-Lactylate is not vegan!. Mono- and Di-Glycerides can be either vegan or non-vegan, but I would say at least 80% of the time, they are not vegan!.!.!.you'd have to contact the manufacturer to be sure!. I've never heard of Mono- and Di-acetyltartaric esters!.!.!.but since they're esters of mono/di-glycerides, there's a chance it's not vegan anyway!. l-cysteine hydrochloride can also be vegan or non-vegan!. Ugh!. :P Everything else is vegan!.

Judah- Yeast is a fungi (same kingdom as mushrooms!.!.!.), which is basically a step up from mold!. They are neither plant nor animal!. Yeast are living, but they don't have a central nervous system like us animals!. It's like eating a plant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you proparly know vegans do not eat anything that comes or is produced from animals and all these ingrediants are not produced or come from from animals!. so it is safe to use!.

my father gave me this simple recipe

1cup of flour
1cup of necture juice
1cup of mix fruit choped into small pieces

mix all ingrediants together
put into 180c* oven and cook for 1hour

enjoy

Sodium Stearoyl-2-Lactylate --Not Vegan

It is made by combining lactic acid and stearic acid, and then reacting the result with sodium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide to make the sodium or calcium salt!.

Lactid Acid is also Called Milk Acid Because It Comes From Milk

Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sodium Stearoyl-2-Lactylate - the "lact" reference suggests it comes from milk!.

fatty acids are also often from animal sources

I would say not suitable for vegansWww@FoodAQ@Com

My brother is a vegan and he never eats anything shop bought which has more than 3 ingredients !. !. !. !. so I guess he would say no it would go against his vegan ethics!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd probably wonder about the yeast, beacuse it's a living oraganism!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i've always wondered about Yeast, it's a living organism so should a veggie/vegan eat yeast!?

Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, mono- and di-glycerides are from dead animals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
