I think you can point out with a meat eater why he shouldn't eat meat in your opinion, as it's important to communicate to others what we think is right, when there's a good reason behind it!.
At the same time, we can't oblige people to change their mind!.
Most of the people know why it would be better not to eat meat already, but still want to eat it, in the same way people who smoke know it's dangerous but still don't quit!.
I think imposition, in any case, is wrong, as you don't achieve the result you want until the person in front of you really wants to change!.

I personally do not think it is ok to tell another person how to eat!. Even if you think it is unhealthy or unethical, it is still a choice that they have made, and it is not your concern!.

I think its ok to have your own opinions- but would a vegetarian like it if you started telling them that they have to eat meat!. DO to others what you would like done to you!.

So many ignorant foolish meat eaters tell me (no, try to force me) to eat meat, so I wouldn't see anything wrong in telling them to stop eating meat!. Besides, we should educate them for their own good!. My family is entirely vegetarian, we are HEALTHY and happy (so!.!.!.meat eaters, unimaginable, isn't it)!. You can tell them but I doubt they'd listen!. Yet meat eaters are always on at us veggies that we should eat meat, that we need to eat meat to be healthy and they expect us to listen!. We know better and we have a conscience about the way animals and birds are slaughtered!.

For example, Lions break the neck of their prey - they suffer and can die slowly if done wrong or not hard enough!. They often have to struggle to survive or try and outrun the predator!.
