Sour Milk Biscuits

Ingredients
240g flour
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon melted butter
Enough sour milk

Action
a!. Mix and sift the dry ingredients!.
b!. Rub in the butter and stir in with a knife enough sour milk,
to make a very soft dough!.
c!. Roll 1 cm thick and cut in small rounds and bake in,
a preheated 200°C oven for about 20 minutes!.


Oat Cake

Ingredients
240g oatmeal (fine grounded)
1/4 teaspoon salt
Flour enough to make stiff dough

Action
a!. Mix the oatmeal, salt and flour till very stiff!.
b!. Roll out on a flour board to 1/2 cm in thickness!.
c!. Bake the sheet in a 140°C oven until dry and hard,
but not brown!.
d!. Break into irregular pieces!.


French Fried Potatoes

Ingredients
1 large potato or sweet potato
salt

a!. Wash and peel the sweet potato!.
b!. Cut length-wise as you desired!.
c!. Fry in deep hot oil, and sprinkle lightly with salt!.

60 ml vegetable oil

Cold water

Action
a!. Mix oil and salt with the flour!.
b!. Moisten to a dough with the cold water!.

Note: With this pastry, you can add anything you want!.


Orange and Banana

Ingredients
Oranges
Bananas
White grapes

Action
a!. Serve oranges whole with the skins quartered and turn down!.
b!. Form in a pyramid with bananas and white grapes!.


Nutmeg and Peaches

Ingredients
Peaches
Nutmeg

Action
Grate nutmeg over peaches!.

A good sweet treat is pie!. Just use Crisco in the crust!. (Follow the Betty Crocker recipe!.)

Savory snacks are almost limitless!. I can eat eggs, but usually don't!. I love popcorn, veggies with hummus, tortilla chips and salsa, potato chips and sour cream based dips (in moderation), Ramen noodles!. I love cheese and usually eat too much of it!. It's good on pretty much anything!. Fondues are great for snacks and can be sweet or savory!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you eat cheese!? If so:

1!. Saute garlic, onion, and a chopped apple in olive oil!.
2!. Cook 1 c rice in 2 c water til cooked!.
3!. Add the rice to the other ingredients in the saute pan, plus a little bit of water!. Cook over low-med heat!.
4!. Add a lot of vegetables - your choice - some ideas are chopped tomato, frozen chopped spinach, peas, broccoli!. Stir!.
5!. Add about 5 heaping tablespoons of cottage cheese!. Stir!.
6!. Add parmesan cheese for flavor, and black pepper!. Stir!.

If you like, add more protein (you already have some in the cottage cheese) in the form of tofu, seitan, beans, broken up veggie burger, or your favorite type!.

This makes enough to eat an entire meal, and have a second meal for later!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Apple Crisp

Dice and apple and put in microwave bowl, Spinkle a little cinnamon on top and a packet of equal (if you are allowed) add water to just below the top line of the apples!.

microwave for 4 minutes!.

add a packet of plain oatmeal and half a box of raisins!. Top woth a little bit of butter

Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds!. Broil for a few seconds to make oatmeal crispy
