Should I Go Vegetarian? (read details please)?!

Question: Should I Go Vegetarian!? (read details please)!?
Okay, i have been considering going vegetarian for a while!. I want to for a few reasons!.
1)I don't quite like meat much anymore!. I dunno, its good on occasion!. But overall its a little yuck in my opinion!.
2)I really do LOVE animals!. And I usually feel quite guilty when i DO eat a hamburger or what not!. Like i said, good on occasion!.
3)I think that it might help my health!. If i take calcium pills and supplements that give me the things i need, i will not need meat anyways!.

Anyways, i want you vegatarians to help me out!. I do think that i am leaning towards yes, but no one has been a vegatarian in my family!. For the most part!. And i just need opinions from the experienced!. I know essentially its my choice but still!. Thank you everyone!Www@FoodAQ@Com

im a vegetarian of 8 years and nobody in my family is a vegetarian either!. i take multi vitamins for nutrience!. if you crave burger or other meat type foods they have tofu versions of it like bocca burgers which are way yummier and loaded in protein minus the calories and fat!. you don't have to feel guilty eaither when eating it because it's 100% meat free and low in fat & calories!. i've been a vegetarian since i was 10!. nobody in my family is a vegetarian either, so my mom doesn't really supply me with anything she has to go out of her way for, and just expects me to find something to eat!. nonetheless, im trying to head towards vegan, and this isn't good at all!.
nobody needs meat anymore, unless you have some certain condition!. frankly, its filthy, decomposing carcass!. i think that at this point anyone still eating it is either close minded or ignorant of the fact Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are so many reasons to stop or just reduce the amount of meat you eat!

The meat industry is worse to the environment than all forms of transportation in the world, according to the UN

also, the grain that we feed the livestock, could be used to feed starving people in Africa!.

ummm sure why not, why souldnt you be vegotarian thr nothing wrong with it!.!.!.
however know that thr are vego haters out thr, as crazy as that sounds why anyone would care bout choosing not to eat animals!.
and that ur parrents are gona hate you when it comes to dinners unless u start cooking for urself often!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If everyone come to know the TRUTH, no one would proud to torture , strangle, force to kill and eat the dumb animals!. I hope the world will develop the love, mercy, compassion, intellect, illumination, and IQ above 110 one day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. You sound like me when I started out!.!.!. Chicken was the only meat I ate, I didn't like red meat at all!.!.!. I also am a big supporter of animal rights!.!. Its terrible how they are treated in society today!.!.!.It is also healthier, you will be happier :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

YES!
Don't let anyone tell you different!
A multi Vitamin with b12 is the best way to stay healthy, along with a balanced diet!.=)Www@FoodAQ@Com

whell the human is an animal that eats meat we arnt ment to be herbervors Www@FoodAQ@Com

I honestly don't believe a veg*n diet is any more humane than an omnivorous one!. And it certainly isn't healthier!. Humans have been meat eaters for over 2 million years, long before agriculture!.

Check out some of the following sites in addition to the info you get from vegan and vegetarian sites!. Do your research and weigh the evidence!.

I think it is a great step, my family has become pescetarian since I decided to become vegetarian (not because of me, they did it on their own) but noone els I know is even close to vegetarian!.
I found it fine, people question a lot at the start so have your answers ready, but after a while they realised I was serious and it became 'normal' to them!.

If you do decide to take the plunge, take it slowly!. Cut meat out first and then focus on cutting out the additives after!. I found it made the transition really easy and non-stressful so I didnt feel put off!. If its all a bit overwhelming, maybe try a week first and see how that feels!.!.!. a lot of people start with that and end up staying vegetarian!. It takes a lot of pressure of you!.

Vitamins are not essential, I don't take any and am perfectly healthy, some people do need them though so I guess it all depends on how your body handles the change!. Meat itself doesnt contain a lot except protein so you get most of your nutrients from the vegetables already anyway!. Vegans do need to be careful of their B12 though!.

Hope this helps, and I say go for it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

well i personally have been a rocky boat myself!.!. like you, i love animals, and the thought of hurting something so innocent just kills me inside!. i will admit that i have slipped during the holidays and eaten a little meat!.!.!.!.still kinda feeling guilty about that too!. but anyways, i'm not going to be that person that tries to persuade you into going veggie or even vegan for that matter!. it's your choice, and nobody elses!. i also am the only one in my family who feels this way about eating animals!.!.so i totally understand!. just make sure that the decision that you make is the right one for you!. And yes, eating more veggetables would help EVERYONE become a little more healthier, so that's a bonus!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just start by cutting meat (as much as possible) from your diet!. If you have no vegetarians in the family it might be more difficult!. Another good thing is when people ask you why you don't eat meat just say you don't enjoy it!. This way you will avoid stress with everybody until you have educated yourself!.
It is worth trying!. I have been a vegetarian as long as I can remember, and my daughter grew up on a vegetarian diet!. It is all about taste, with time you will loose the taste for meat, that even if you feel like eating it, you will not be able to enjoy the taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
