Healthy packed lunch ideas?!


Question: Healthy packed lunch ideas!?
The food at my school is very unhealthy so i decided i am gonna take a packed lunch with me do you have any suggestions
BTW i'm a vegetarian

A vegeburger with all the fixings
Tofu "egg" salad
A vege-delight sub from subway
Any nut butter with honey
Humus on wholewheat with tomatoes and sprouts
A taco salad - just add the chips at lunch time and top with salsa


If your have a microwave
Corn on the cob
Homemade soup
Beans and cornbread
A nut-loaf and vegetables

Go to your local health food store and pick up some

soy cheese i like the provolone flavored kind

get some crusty vegan french bread

some pesto sauce

some baby spinach leaves

and some nice fresh or sundried tomatoes

Cut yourself a piece of the french bread and half it

spread some pesto sauce on both sides

place some cheese and spinach leaves on it and top it off with some sundried or fresh tomatoes!. It'll be really good by lunch time! Www@FoodAQ@Com

i love making fake bacon, avocado and tomato wraps with hummus!. i usually buy wheat wraps and LightLife fakin' bacon tempeh (sooooo good, i love this stuff! you can get it at wholefoods)!. chop up some avocados and tomatoes, spread the hummus on the wrap and add the fake bacon, and veggies!. you can always subsitute for other veggies if you don't like avocado and tomotoes!. cheese and tomatoes (mozzarella, blue stilton cheese, cheddar cheese, philadelphia cheese, with different types of bread e!.g bread rols, baguel, whole meal sliced bread, pita bread!.!.etc)

hummus and falafel with salad in pitta bread

Savoury courgette muffin

egg and salad sandwich

you can make plenty of interesting and delicious salads with some ingredients such as beans, pasta, rice, tomatoes, lettuce, etc!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.if you're not vegan, yoghurt and cheese are excellent sources of protein, and if youn are vegan, well there's always soya products!.!.!.rye bread, pitta bread, wholemaeal crackers, the list of interesting foods is endless!.just have fun experimenting with them all!.!.!.bon appetit!Www@FoodAQ@Com
