Google Turkish delight!. Most recipes are for lazy people who use gelatine, but the real Turkish product is made by boiling cornflour, which is pure starch, and citric or tartaric acid slowly!. All are non-animal products!. The jelly is a complex carbohydrate!. Just make it without adding the usual Turkish delight flavouring, and you'll have a non-sweet unflavoured jelly!. Then add your own flavouring!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You can use Agar-Agar which is a seaweed that doesn't look, or taste like seaweed!. When you buy it, there should be instructions on how to use it - I'm not sure exactly!. :) You can buy it at Whole Foods, the Internet, or mostly any other health food store!. Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
you can get gelatin (sometimes called agar) that is derived from seaweed as you know seaweed is vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That being said, most vegetarian "gelatins" are made from agar seaweed!. I bet you could have moderate luck using pectin, as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
