There's a really good reason!. Indians are predominately Hindu, of which many are vegetarian!.

meat in third world cultures is an expensive food!.

Anyway!.!. Indian cuisine is largely vegetarian!.

I'm not vegetarian but eat a lot of vegetarian food (due to the mrs) and yeah indian veg is awesome!. I think because it uses a lot of legumes, lentils and spices so is rich in flavourWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. India is the most vegetarian country on earth (over 40%), so their cuisine has developed more vegetarian dishes over a longer period of time than other countries where vegetarianism is relatively new!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ive been a veggie since i was 6 years old im now 24!. i love indian food, there is so much variety and tastes alot more exciting than bland quorn! its fully of calories tho so need to go easy maybe once a fortnight!? oh yeah!Www@FoodAQ@Com
