I eat Quorn roast which I get from Sainsbury's or Tesco!. You can get it from their freezer section!. It goes perfectly with the rest of Xmas dinner and I have it every year!. Delicious!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I've been vegetarian for about 2 and a half years!. My first veg thanksgiving I just nibbled on rolls and potatoes and corn!. First veg x-mas my uncle was nice enough to make eggplant Parmesan!.
Last year on thanksgiving it was just me and the veggie BF I had at the time, so we made squash, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberries, veggies with hummus etc!. and then on that x-mas we went out for chinese!.
This year I'm going to be working on thanksgiving and i plan on volunteering at a soup kitchen for x-mas, so i prob won't be eating anything special!.
Theres been a lot of separation and drama in my fam lately!.
about the only plus side to that is on thanksgiving and stuff i don't have to explain over and over why I don't want any turkey or ham, or have my redneck cousins call me crazy for not eating that stuff!.
Hooray for boca burgers on x-mas!

I make my own meals!. The first thanksgiving and Christmas I was lazy and made the old favorite!.!.!. the tofurky, but the past few years I have made my owns delicious vegetarian meals!.
This year for Christmas I am going to make(if I don't decide to make it for Thanksgiving first), stuffed portabello mushroom, green bean casserole, and some type of salad and soup, and I eat the side dishes!.
I find the most fun part of the holidays is cooking!. While it there are only two vegetarians at our holiday gatherings, most everyone else enjoys what I cook in addition to their meals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Last Christmas I was still vegetarian (I'm vegan now) and I made some yummy veggie & cheese quesadillas with a side of salsa-flavored rice!.
Since becoming veg, I sort of like having "alternative" holidays instead of eating the traditional, fat-laden foods that are staples or standards!.
This will actually be my first vegan Thanksgiving and Christmas!. I think for Thanksgiving I might go with an Asian theme - egg rolls, stir fry!.!.!.maybe some sushi!. I have no idea what I'll do for Christmas!.
Happy holidays!Www@FoodAQ@Com

On holidays, my meal usually consists of lots of side dishes rather than partaking in the main course!. Doesn't bother me, and my mom always makes sure to make lots of "veggie-friendly" side dishes!.
The only exception is that on Christmas Eve my family has a meal of shrimp and crab legs!. I do eat seafood as long as it is sustainability produced (according to the Monterey Bay Aquarium's cheat sheet) so I do partake in that meal!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

We're all meat eaters, but my sister in law is a vegetarian, when she comes here for any dinner i cook her a quorn steak or try to match a veggie dish to a meat one as much as possible, For Christmas dinner when all around you are eating meat, You could have a omelet or a quorn steak with a nice sauce or something you really like as long as it goes well with veggies and roast spuds!. Keep plenty of space for pudd tho!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
