What's Pro whey protein for?!
is this to gain or lose weigh!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Whey protein is low in calories and high in protein!. It is used to lose fat by increasing your body's ability to build muscle, but is typically just associated with muscle growth (the fat loss is a possible side effect)!. It is not a weight loss supplement, but if you're going to resort to stupid things like Slim Fast, I'd choose a protein shake in a heart beat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Pro whey protein is just for what it is: Protein!. Protein is the main nutritional needs of the body's skeletal muscle tissue (muscles)!.
If you want to gain muscle mass as oppose to adipose tissue (fat mass), then I would add the whey protein, but you will still have to exercise and use the muscles! And use them hard so they have to repair themselves and rebuild the muscles bigger (you do not build new muscle cells-you only have the amount you developed as a child)!. You will need to make sure you eat enough complex carbohydrates and fats to keep the body's metabolism and the immune system going strong!. Sleep is also needed for a speedy and full recovery!.
also, just try it and see how your body responds to it!. When I add a little extra protein (though my sources are totally vegan : hemp protein powder, gemma (pea) protein powder, and brown rice protein powder) I find that I gain a little bit more muscle mass faster!. But after a couple of months I do have to find something else (like take a break for a couple of weeks to let my body fully recover) to get out of the plateau!.
Have fun experimenting!Www@FoodAQ@Com
