Answers:
If you are okay with drinking cow milk than that is fine!.

Or there is soy milk could be slightly more than regular milk (I was lactose intolerant so now soy milk is cheaper to me than lactaid) Its best to start with chocolate because the chocolate masks the very different taste so you gradually get used to it!. Then you can move up to vanilla in cereal and then plain if you like!. I love Vitasoy milk or 8th Continent!. Silk wasn't high on my list!. Not all soy milk tastes the same!.

-Rice milk!. it was okay!. i got vanilla b/c they didnt have chocolate and it wasn't too bad however after a while i kept tasting pure rice!. which was a littler hard to take!. but it wasn't the worst!

Almond milk, oat milk, hemp milk!.
If you want to try those out check in the non refridgerated section as well, either by powdered milks or a natural/health food section of your grocery store!.

Or switch to skim!. Which was always my personal preference b/c all of that fat/cream made me nauseas to think about!.

But you are fine to drink 2% cow milk if you would likeWww@FoodAQ@Com

lots of vegetarians drink regular milk!.!. and include dairy!.!.
eggs!.!.
its called a lacto-ovo vegetarian i believe!.!.
but soy milk is pretty good!.!. i dont like the regular soy, but i love the "silk" brand of CHOCOLATE milk!.!. tastes almost like regular!
its about the same price of regular milk, maybe a tad more!.!.

Being vegetarian, I am assuming you are against eating dead animals,!. However, Milk is simply excess bodily fat of a cow (or a goat at times), something that a cow has no need for, unless she is nursing a baby!. On that note, you should not feel bad for drinking regular, even full fat, milk, as you are not doing any damage to the animals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most vegetarians eat eggs and consume dairy, as they did not result from the slaughter of an animal!.

If you have health or ethical concerns regarding milk, you can purchase soy milk (Silk is one brand- it will be in the refrigerated dairy section), rice milk (Rice Dream) or almond milk!.(Almond Breeze) (my favorite) Most large grocery stores carry these, and they are not expensive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

as long as it does not come from a cow any kind of milk is good!.!.!.!.

soy, almond, rice, etc!.!.!.!.why is the milk from a nut called milk and the juice from a cow called the same thing!? that really bothers me!.!.!.!.

go to a store to get milk and they have cow juice and no milk!!!

and if you can run a coffee grinder and coffee pot you can make soy milk at home much cheaper!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depending on your level of vegetarianism, you can drink soy milk!. It's about 50% higher in cost than regular milk, but has no animal product!. Personally, the chocolate variety of Silk is my favorite!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lacto-vegetarians can drink whole mike 3% if they want to, just make sure it is organic milk!. The animals are treated a little better and they are not fed chemicals or dangerous hormones!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can drink any milk your heart desires as a vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I drink goats milk and eat sheep's cheese!. Neither are dairy products as they do not come from a bovine animal!. They taste great and are better for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians can drink whatever kind of milk that they like!.

It is Vegans that don't drink milk at all!. They drink Soy, Almond or Rice!.

Hope this helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com
