There are vegans, there are vegetarians and there are.......?!
There are vegans and vegetarians - arre the people who eat meat called meat eaters!?!!?!!? or is there a proper name !. i know there are omnivores:SSS hahaWww@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Many veg*ans (shorthand for vegetarian and vegan) will refer to someone who eats animal flesh as an omnivore!. There's no official name, so to speak, as those who eat meat are the majority of humans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think "meat-eaters" is a much more technically accurate tag!.
I should point out that human beings, no matter WHAT, are always omnivores!. Why, you ask!? The word "omnivore" doesn't describe a diet, it designates a capability!. Just because you are a veg*an, it doesn't make you an omnivore, just as eating meat only doesn't make you a carnivore!. Those are just expressions!.
Being an omnivore just means that you have the CHOICE or capability of eating animals and/or plants!. For example, you might eat meat 24/7, but if you were to eat vegetables you would digest them and get nutrients from them, so you are still an omnivore!. Same applies for veg*ans: you might be so, but your body can still digest meat!. It's not optimal, but you can still do it!. So being omnivores, we're lucky to be of the few species to have the choice of vegetarianism!.
So, that's why it's fallacious to call a meat-eater an "omnivore," but it's also why the old "but humans are naturally omnivores" argument against veg*nism is invalid: "can" and "do" are two different things!.

They are people who include meat in their diet, I don't think there is a name for them!. By definition all humans are omnivores, since our livers can produce the enzymes needed to digest meat!. Vegetarians are not herbivores, since we are capable of digesting meat, but we choose not to!. A herbivore dosen't product the enzymes needed to digest meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They are just called Meat-Eaters!!!!!!
Kim N: The Human liver is not Meant to break down meat!. Part of the hundreds of jobs the liver does is break down Toxins to the body!. T
Meat is Toxic to the body and therefor he human body's liver breaks it down so we do not die, though as you can see between a comparison Vegans are much healthier than Meat-Eaters!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well there are herbivores (veggie and vegan), omnivores (who eat both meat and veg) and carnivores who eat only meat - humans aren't carnivores they wouldn't be able to live on meat alone, only animals, dinosaurs especially!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Humans are omnivores!. We benefit from consuming both plants and animals!. 98% of the U!.S!. population eats both plants and animals therefore the omnivore tag is sufficient!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
