Can you eat peanuts raw? What are some sources about uses for raw "green" peanuts?!

I have eaten raw peanuts but I don't really like the taste!. Have not seen them for years!. Use to buy a bag at the zoo to feed the elephants, but most of them seemed to get eaten by the kids!.

Yes, you can, but they will make you terribly sick!.
I know of no good ideas for using peanuts in the raw form that don't involve baking or roasting!.

You can eat them raw!. I've never gotten sick but they taste a little strange!. If you can get past the taste, simply use them like you would use a roasted peanut!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gosh i wouldnt they do your stomach no good AT ALL my parents are chefs you should really wait until they are ripe but if ur desperate suffer the consequences !!!!!
