you cant be a Vegan if you are going to put Bacon on it still!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Technically, if it is made with eggs, it cannot be part of a vegan diet!. You can find some vegan substitutes, however alot of pasta is made without eggs!. When I first became a vegan I was curious about it, so I just started reading the ingredients on the packages of pasta!. I found that some contained eggs, but there were also some that didn't!.

I'd suggest that before you go on a search for specialized vegan pasta, you take a while to read the ingredients of the pastas in your regular grocery store and see if any of them are vegan!. (Reading labels is really, really monotonous and boring, but worth it if you find out that you can actually eat something that you assumed was off-limits!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know what makes you think "regular" pasta necessarily contains egg!. Not all pasta contains egg, you just have to check the ingredients list!. A lot of pasta that most people would probably consider "regular" is made from just wheat/flour, and has no egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegan means no eggs, therefore youll need to find the egg-less pastas that are out there!.

Some vegans, like myself, will use eggs from local neighbors that have thier own chicken house!. (Reasoning: If the chickens are treated well without any harm being done, then no harm being done!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com
