Vegan traveling help?!

Question: Vegan traveling help!?
I've been a vegan for awhile now and a strict one I only really eat things I make myself from vegetables, fruits or grains!. I never use enriched or bleached products so for flour and stuff I only use organic ones that are not bleached or enriched so travel would be rather difficult!. I would like to travel to a few place but one is Holland!. If there are any vegans out there who have worked out how to travel on a vegan diet any tips would be great also if any one has been to Holland and has any tips on places there that are truly vegan safe to get food or food products from so no animal products, by products that includes no dairy and no eggs and such!. Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In my opinion your best bet is to prepare some of your own food for the ride or trip!. Make some granola or pack dried fruits to munch on until you get there!. Just about any fast food place that offers a vegetarian meal is still loaded with enriched products!. The airline will give you a vegan meal, just make sure you tell them ahead of time or when you are booking your flight!. Here I sent you a link to vegan dining in Holland!. I also sent you a link on how to travel vegan!. Don't get discouraged if you can't find a place you like!. The site has links to vegan and health food stores as well so if all else fails, cook yourself a little meal in the hotel or let the management know you would like a vegan menu!. Have fun in Holland!Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are a lot of options, actually!. You can always take:

dried fruit
veggie chips
fresh fruit/vegetables
granola
vegan chocolate
Luna bars
soy protein shakes
homemade vegan cookies
whole-grain pretzels

I drove through several states and made sure to pack a lunch box full of sandwiches!.!.!.I knew it'd be stupid to try and find a place to cater to my diet on the road! Plus, it was tastier, cheaper, healthier, and fresher making it on my own!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When you are trying to follow a vegan lifestyle, sometimes you just have to do your best!. You can always buy fruits and vegetables wherever you go!. Grains and nuts, too!. You can probably bring or buy nutrition bars like Clif bars!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's lots of good help above, but I just wanted to add!.!.!.

You might want to grab a copy of Sarah Kramer's latest book (http://www!.arsenalpulp!.com/bookinfo!.php!?!.!.!. I don't have it yet, but I've heard good things about it!. It seems like it would be very helpful if you travel a lot!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Google "[city] vegan" or "[country] vegan"!. Here's what I found for Holland http://www!.vegetarian-restaurants!.net/Eu!.!.!. !. Don't be fooled by the URL - it has vegan, too!. There were other good tips in the answers - boo, hiss to the first one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Good tips above!. also consider staying in a location with a kitchenette or full kitchen!. If I am in a non-vegan friendly place I will just buy some groceries and cook for myself!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

umm im sorry to bring you bad news but people eat animals!.!.!.its the most natural thing in the world and 99% people in other countries will look at you like you have three heads if you tell them about your diet!. it will be very hard or nearly impossible to find places to eat for you!. i would try Switzerland or england those should have vegetarian places and maybe vegan!.

and go to big cities with alot of people like london!.!.!.!. im sure you can find someplace there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
