Do you put weight on if you turn vegetarian and if you dont eat meat and fish?!
Answers:
If you eat healthy things (while being a vegetarian) like fruits, grains, veggies, etc!. and exercise regularly!.
You won't gain weight very much!.
But if you don't eat healthy things (while being a vegetarian) like twinkies, chips, donuts, etc!. then that fact that you are a vegetarian isn't really going to help that much!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gaining and losing weight is all about how many calories you take in, as opposed to the amount you burn in the day!. If you eat more calories than you take in, than you will gain weight!.
Some people lose weight when they switch over to a vegetarian diet, while some gain weight, and others maintain the same weight!. It all depends on the person and the amount they were eating before, and how much they are eating now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Before I became Vegan I weighed 180lb, and now after being Vegan for quite a while I weigh 130lb!. When your a Vegetarian you will most likely gain weight from eating excessive amount of Dairy products!. When you have no meat you'll focus solely on Dairy, and Dairy is basically all fat!. When you become Vegan, everything that's basically fatty disappears!. So yes, it makes sense that you've gained weight!.
I was also on no diet, I still eat quite a lot, it's just all the food I eat is at least somewhat healthy and fills me up much faster!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I did, but that was only because when i became vegetarian i only ate french fries, ice cream, basically junk food, after i noticed i gained weight, i started to be a healthy vegetarian, and exercised, back down to what i was before, now i am vegan, and i lost weight, so if you eat healthy as a vegetarian you will prob stay the same, or lose some weight!. Being vegetarian doesn't mean that you're healthy!. I'm a vegan and there are plenty of junk foods that I can eat!. Plus, being veg*n doesn't mean that you automatically exercise!.
No matter what you choose to not eat, make sure that what you DO eat is natural, fresh, organic, and varied!.!.!.and make sure that you have a solid exercise routine!. Simply walking 40 minutes and doing PE may not be enough!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can, just like any food!. It's not particularly likely, if you're eating mostly veg, fruit and whole grains, but hell, you can put on weight eating a primarily carrot diet!. It's not what you eat, but how many calories of it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
It all depends on what you eat!. If you stop eating meat and replace it with vegetables you will lose weight!. If you stop eating meat and replace it with junk food you will gain weight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i know someone who has been a vegetarian her whole life and is totally fat because she eats bread all day long, you still have to make good choicesWww@FoodAQ@Com
