Odd cravings-craving meat?!


Question: Odd cravings-craving meat!?
I have been a vegetarian-by choice- for more than 13 years!. however, within the last week i havent been able to ignore a craving for chicken (like chicken tenders with ranch etc) i have been told by a fellow vegetarian that i am craving salt and that the feeling can easily be satisfied!. i'm not sure though!.
i live by a plum market!. is there a fake chicken (vegetarian) type of freezer food or something i can make!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know that there are frozen vegetarian "chicken" nuggets in my grocery store!. Just take a look in your frozen section and maybe you'll stumble on a healthy foods section!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are some kind of chicken-meat vegeterian items in health food stores!. Most of them are based on tofu and nuts!. They taste well!.
also, if you crave meat, you can BBQ (or fry) some pleurotous mushrooms, and garnish them with lemon and origan!. They taste exactly like meat!.
If you crave meat, you may be deficient in some trace elements (maybe iron)!. Check it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I counseled with a woman to teach me to detox my body!. She told me that our bodies will crave good food once we get the junk out of it!. She was a vegetarian for many years and one day she craved some meat and decided that her body need the meat!. I'd say eat some organic chicken (about 4oz) and enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can easily get a chicken substitute (like Quorn or Veat or Morningstar) and eat that to see if it helps!. What part of the chicken-eating are you craving!? The taste!? The texture!? Are you getting enough salt otherwise in your diet!? Www@FoodAQ@Com
