Hey there! =] I'm a vegetarian, as well, and thought I would give you some tips on how to maintain a nutritious diet!. To keep healthy, you'll want to eat well-balanced meals, so make sure you receive enough of the following:

Vitamin B12--this includes dairy products, eggs, vitamin-fortified products (cereal, bread, soy/rice drinks)
Vitamin D--this includes dairy products, calcium-fortified orange juice, vitamin-fortified products
Calcium--this includes dairy products, dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, chickpeas, calcium-fortified products
Protein--this includes dairy products, eggs, tofu, dried beans, nuts
Iron--this includes eggs, dried beans, dried fruits, whole grains, leafy green vegetables, iron-fortified cereals/bread
Zinc--this includes wheat germ, fortified cereal, legumes

I hope this helps a little bit! I think it is great that you are interested in vegetarianism, and even though it might be difficult at first, you'll find some great recipes out there! It is also much easier than being a vegan (only eating food from plant sources!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should have a salad with dark leafy greens daily!. I started making my own dressing recently because many brands are unhealthy!. Goji berries are also very nutritous, you can eat them with raw nuts and seeds which is always tasty!.

overall mainly just focus your attention on fresh fruits and veggies, nuts, seeds, beans, and whole grains!. Consume about 2 servings of organic dairy a week, that will give you a good source of protein, friendly bacteria, calcium, and vitamin B12!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

all vegetables! duhh! ahahahaha!. and like grains and stuff!. boccoli especially because it is packed with protein!. and if you stop eating meat you will be losing a lot of protien!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
