What is the difference in the soy milk found in the fridge section and the soy milk on the regular shelves?!

Question: What is the difference in the soy milk found in the fridge section and the soy milk on the regular shelves!?
Answers:
The one on the shelves is UHT (ultra high temperature) pasteurized!. This is stronger than regular pasteurization, meaning it can stay longer and at a higher temperature without spoiling!. The one in the fridge is pasteurized with less energy, so it won't last as long and must be kept cold!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm just taking a guess: One is powdered!? or doesn't need to be refrigerated because it lasts longer until you open it and break the seal!.
and one needs to be refrigerated!.
Rice milk is on the regular shelves

idk I just buy ZenSoy!.!. it's refrigerated
it's good cos it comes in different flavors!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The one on the regular shelves has been specially treated so that it does not need refrigeration until it is opened!. This treatment usually also affects the flavor, and you might find that the milk in the fridge section has a better flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

probably has to do with the packaging ; the stuff on the shelf is in a "tetra pack" which is what "drink boxes" are in and they don't need to be refrigerated because of a vaccuum seal or somethingWww@FoodAQ@Com

the ones in the fridge section are usually more expensive, but in my opinion, the ones in the fridge section taste way betterWww@FoodAQ@Com

One is cold and one is warm!. Sorry, I have no idea, but I couldn't help myself!. I know it was lame!Www@FoodAQ@Com

on shevles its usually UHT which means it last longer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
