Yes, it was a vegetarian salad!.

However, I would have thought real chicken was the least of your concerns!.

Have you seen the s*** they put into these things!

These types of highly processed meat replacements are hardly natural or even healthy!.

If not, read below!.

Ingredients of Veggie Patch "Chicken" Cutlets:

WATER, SOY FLOUR, WHEAT GLUTEN, SOY ISOLATE, WHEAT STARCH, SOYBEAN OIL, ONIONS!. CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF EGG WHITES, MODIFIED VEGETABLE GUM, AUTOLYZED YEAST EXTRACT, CHICORY FIBER (INULIN), MODIFIED FOOD STARCH, CALCIUM CARBONATE, SEA SALT, MALTODEXTRIN, NATURAL FLAVORS, CORN FLOUR, DEXTROSE, VEGETABLE FIBER, EVAPORATED CANE JUICE, GARLIC, COLOR ADDED, CULTURED SKIM MILK, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, SPICES, CITRIC ACID!. BATTER AND BREADING: WHEAT FLOUR, WATER, SUGAR, YELLOW CORN FLOUR, MODIFIED CORN STARCH, SOYBEAN OIL, SALT, YEAST, PAPRIKA, CANOLA OIL, LEAVENING (SODIUM ACID PYROPHOSPHATE, SODIUM BICARBONATE), SPICES, GUAR GUM, ANNATTO EXTRACT!.

All soy products (unless certiified organic) now come from genetically modified seed!.

The soy flour, soy isolate, soybean oil and canola oil would all be from GM crop!. And no-one yet knows the long term effects on health or environment from GM!. You can risk it, I won't!.

Rather you eat them, than me!.

some of us don't know that Veggie Patch Chicken cutlets are veggie cutlets made from soy protein or anything!.

A lot of us vegetarians stay away from anything processed so we wouldn't know what Veggie Patch is, so I suggest some of the other people to relax and not make people that aren't familiar with veggie patch feel ignorant!.

anyhoo, if that chicken cutlets thing is just soy protein, yes it is a vegetarian salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If the person is a vegetarian that eats eggs and milk, then yes, vegetarian!.

The Veggie Patch cutlets have egg whites and skim milk as part of the ingredients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not if the chicken you're referring to is actually meat!.
If the chicken is some sort of vegetarian subsitute it's fine!. I'm assuming it would be if it's called veggie patch chicken lolWww@FoodAQ@Com
