It is your choice, really!. Most vegetarians when they stop eating meat feel so much better not eating meat, it's not just about the animals, but also about the health of the humans, you sometimes don't notice how bad you feel until you start feeling better and that's what happens to lots of vegetarians if they're successful!.!.!. but you won't know unless you try!. I do know a site that helps you to give you tips, and step-by-step advice and coaching if you want to try and even if you want to try other ways of changing your diet or lifestyle other than vegetarianism, it has some tips, cool people and fun games too!. Just go to the site and sign up then tell them what you're there for and they'll invite you to the appropriate group for you situation!. The site is listed below!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes, you should stop eating meat; it's a good choice for you body, for the well being of the animals, and for the environment (read Rolling Stones article Boss Hog)!. It's hard to give up meat when you have been eating it so long and love it so much so take it slow and introduce vegetarian dishes slowly!. Eventually you're taste change!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes, you should stop eating processed meat and factory farmed meat but if you actually go out and pick up roadkill that you didn't kill on purpose or you learn native/indigenous hunting techniques then it is not so bad!. Mass slaughter is bad in any case and most of the supermarket crap is filled with horrible dieseases and other nasty chemicals from various processes or is fed crap that nobody would actually eat!. It is not natural or healthy even if they call it free range or organic!. If you have to eat meat do it like native/indigenous people eat it and use the entire animal!. If that is not at all apealling than it is clear that you shouldn't eat meat if you are not willing to hunt for it and clean it and use as much of the animal as possible!.
I am all for eating fruits and veggies and whole grains rather than meat and it can be very healthy and tasty if you do it right which is not that hard!. Though eventually the civilization will collapse under it's own weight and we will have to learn to revert back to our more primal days and live more like indigenous folks lived many many many many many years ago!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well!.!.!.it's your own personal choice to make!.I am trying to transition into vegetarianism right now and it is hard for me,but I know it is right for me!.I never have eaten red meat so that isn't a problem!.All the meat I did eat came from pigs!.!.!.I loved bacon!.But,I saw on the news a PETA undercover investigation on a pig farm and they were brutally beating the pigs there!.I was so sickened by what I saw!.So,I have made the commitment to never eat anything that comes from pigs again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I have never felt better physically or mentally than since I went vegetarian!.
It it much better for your health, for the animals, for the environment and for your bank balance!. It's very easy to get protein from non-meat sources!.
You may find it hard at first, but will get used to it, and your body will thank you for it!. Give it a go!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know someone will elaborate rudely or fiercely on what I'm about to say, but, to put it simply, there's a bunch of other reasons to become a vegetarian!. Besides the animals, there's the environment, some health, etc!.
But you should really do what you feel is best and what you feel is right!. As long as you're happy, then the next step can be taken!. Follow your heart!.

Well if you make that argument, you could argue that plants have feelings too, and it's so sad when they are slaughtered and sometimes processed!.

NO!.
both plants and animals have feelings!.
It is no pleasure to be biased toward any living thing!.
it's all about being fair!.
consuming plants only or more is in no way beneficial to the environment!. all it does is create an imbalance!. We are to consume both plants and animals equally
it is selfish to make a choice of food consumption based on personal benefits!.
everything is to be done in moderation!.
we are to accommodate everything on earth to experience the best of it!.
we are not to judge the degree of importance but respect it!.
