Am i a vegetarian or vegan?!
i am pretty sure i am a vegetarian since i eat no meat!.
but i don't drink cow milk either ( i drink soy milk)
and also i don't eat like egg omelet, but i will eat egg if it's in a cake or something!.
i also dress myself in vegan clothing like cotton and denim and stuff
so, i guess my question is are there different forms of vegan-ism like there are for vegetarianism
or am i in a category all of my own!?
also, can vegans wear man made fibers!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think you are a little confused!. Veg@ns are a type of vegetarian so there aren't different types of veg@ns!. Veg@ns do not consume ANYTHING that contains animal products so that cake with the eggs in it isn't suitable for a veg@n!. You would be considered a ovo vegetarian if you don't eat any dairy products but still consume things with eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You are not a vegan as vegans do not eat any animal products or anything with animal products added, including cakes and pastry although the latter can be made with vegetable oil!. Vegans are the true vegetarians as they will only eat vegetable matter!.
I often wonder why they eat only vegetables for there is no saying that they too do not feel the pain of been cut or dug up!. As for wearing man-made fibres you surely mean synthetics, for they are the only fabrics made by man and not by natureWww@FoodAQ@Com

You are an ovo vegetarian, which means that you do not consume dairy products or meat, but does eat eggs!.
A lacto vegetarian is someone who consumes dairy products, but no meat or eggs!.
A lacto-ovo vegeatrian is just a normal vegetarian, someone who does not eat meat, but does eat dairy products and eggs!.
Hope this helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

well die-hard vegans would say that you aren't a vegan since you eat cakes and such with egg in them!. and i would say there isn't necessarily different FORMS of veganism!. there is just different levels of (commence thumb downs from vegans) commitment!. but you are doing much, much better than 95% of the population!. More than likely you're just a vegetarian!. Although you may not drink cow's milk, you might still consume things that have butter in them which IS made of cow's milk and you said you eat eggs if it's baked in something!. There are vegan style cake recipes if you search for them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
def not a Vegan!. You would never consume, wear or use ANY animal product!. A vegan is also concerned with the impact on the environment so certain man made fibers are out!. also vegans DO NOT SMOKE!! After all, they live this way to benefit their health and their environment!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Sorry to all who have answered this question but I think you are you and a label doesn't really matter!.
Enjoy your diet and being you!. If you want a label it's vegetarian because I don't think there are levels in being a vegan!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wool is a renewable resource, it is clipped off the sheep in the spring just like you getting a haircut!. It grows back for the next year and is one of the oldest forms of fiber used for clothing!.
The rubber in your shoes uses animal blood to make it set properly!. The tires on your vehicle use animal blood and bones to make the rubber set properly, and the asphalt on the highway uses animal blood and bones to make it set properly and be firm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
