Help a meat eater date a Vegan?!

Question: help a meat eater date a Vegan!?
I'm the "flesh" eater!. While I consider it completely natural for myself to eat organic, free range and hormone-free meat on occasion- I respect vegetarians and admire some of principals vegis have that support their decision!. While I don't gross out upon seeing a chicken "carcass" I understand why someone who doesn't eat meat would!. It doesn't insult me!.
Because of my business (unpasteurized veg table juices) and my associations people often assume I'm a "kindred spirit" and am meat free!.
So I'm smitten by a vegan Goddess and am feeling self conscious as I'm about to ask her out!. I have a suede jacket, many leather shoes, and a big old leather couch I'm hoping to sit her on soon!. My sense of authenticity makes me want to let her know this part of me right off!.
I'm balking at that- in fact I sometimes think I won't ask her out because of it!. What to do!? How would you wish a suitor would convey!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

just let her know how you feel, tell her everything that you posted in this question, and see what she thinks about it!. humans live like only 80 years anyway!. make every day countWww@FoodAQ@Com

I am a vegan and my husband is not even close!. We make it work!. He doesn't bother me about it, and I don't bother him about it!. We made a pact that if either gives the other one a hard time, that person has to either (in my case) eat meat, or (in his case) watch a bunch of videos showing all the cruelity to animals!

If she's a cool person, she will understand!. So, what do you have to lose!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go for it!. Tell her how you feel, hopefully she's a decent person who will admire your honesty!.
I wish you luck but I know of vegans who get upset at others for eating meat!. They claim it makes them physically sick!. I cannot see where this comes from!. The majority of the planet eat meat, you can't get upset with most of the world's choices!.
Anyway, good luck!.

your out of luck dude!.!.!.if she is vegan, most likely your relationship will end over some argument about the two of you not agreeing on each others lifestyle!. i'm vegan, and would never date a non vegan!.!.!.even vegetarians are a stretch!.!.!. people just need similarities, especially in parts of their lives that are very important!.!.!.and this girl will most likely need another vegan or a vegetarian at least!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am veggie and was with a non vegetarian!. I had no problem with it!. It was my choice to be veggie and would not condem anyone else that isn't!.
If she is veggie because of religion then that may cause a problem otherwise it shoudn't worry her, as she would have been like you at one timeWww@FoodAQ@Com

1!. Watch Earthlings: http://video!.google!.com/videosearch!?q=ea!.!.!.
2!. Become Vegan
3!. Live happily ever afterWww@FoodAQ@Com

You obviously have no problem with it, so hopefully she will be equally as open minded and non-selfish about it as well!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

just tell her thats her choice and that is yours just try to not make her feel uncomfortable when with youWww@FoodAQ@Com

I've been there and I don't recommend it!. It's kind of like being a chain smoker trying to date someone who doesn't smoke at all!. Eating with someone is an important part of a relationship and unless they are going to be ok with you eating meat, you will have to be sneaking it and they will say they can taste the meat on your breath!. Other people will say it shouldn't be a big deal but my experience says otherwise!. There are exceptions of course but hard core vegans and leather wearing meat-eaters just don't mix!. She won't change and she won't be happy unless she can change you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am surprised a little that a Vegan would date a meat eater who didn't fully understand her reasons a little bit!. I am a Vegan and perhaps I go a little too far in how I cannot turn off and I refuse to date somebody who isn't at least a veggie!. I think you should do her a kindness and cut out meat (if only to test it out) and you should research vegan-ism some too!. Just by reading the first sentence of your question details, I can tell that you haven't thought about vegetarianism much, for example free range!.!.!.not what you would expect from the name!.

best wishes ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm vegan, my husband is not!. When we cook at home it is almost entirely vegan!. He will add cheese or butter to his if he wants!. He does not cook meat at home out of respect for me!. It can work!. Do I want him to be vegan!? Sure, but that is his choice to make!.!.!.not mine!.
Unfortunately there are some vegans who are close-minded to everything but their way!. I think the bulk of us are open minded about this!. My sister is vegan too with a meat eating boyfriend!. It is no big deal!.
When you ask her out, be up front about your lifestyle but show an interest in hers!. Maybe you can find a vegan restaurant to take her to!. I would be impressed by a willingness to learn about my lifestyle choices!.
Go for it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Aw!. That's so cute! You have a big crush on a meat-free lady!. :-)

Any-who!. I'm a vegan and meat-eating men are not automatically put on my "do not date" list!. I like to spend time with people and get to know them for who they are!.!.!.their likes and dislikes, etc!.
If I refuse to date someone b/c of the type of clothes they wear or the food they eat, then *I* have a problem!.
Ask her out! Many vegans are open minded (we sort of have to be to follow such a lifestyle)!. As long as she's an accepting, free spirit, I'm sure she can look past your sofa, jacket and shoes!.
Buena suerte!Www@FoodAQ@Com

ok, i think you should ask her out and explain this too her right off!. however, i know this is unrelated, and i'll probably get thumbs down for this!.!. but i think you should stop being so lavish with leather products!. i understand a suede jacket and leather shoes, to a degree, for durability!. however a leather couch is completely ridiculous, selfish, and unnecessary!. i honestly don't understand how anyone could ever want to own something that repulsive!. it's cheaper to buy a synthetic couch!. also, i doubt that those leather goods you own were ethically produced, unless you dropped a fortune on them!. so what i suggest is that you cool it with the leather!. if you are "aware" of the industry and understand why someone wouldn't eat meat!.!. i don't understand how you could continue to support the industry!. i know that if you were trying to date me this would be a huge turn offWww@FoodAQ@Com
