Why do we call vegetarians, vegetarians instead of herbivores? ?!

Question: Why do we call vegetarians, vegetarians instead of herbivores!? !?
Answers:
Herbivores can only eat vegetables!. Vegetarians choose to eat vegetables!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Herbivores consume plant foods!. Vegetarians eat both milk and eggs, neither of which are plant foods, so they are not herbivores!. A whole-foods vegan would technically be a herbivore since they eat vegetables, fruits, nuts/seeds, and legumes!.

By the way, herbivores are not adapted to ONLY eat meat, just cheifly, it's easier for them to digest, but they wouldn't die if fed meat or something, it's the same with humans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because herbivores by definition can't eat meat, their livers don't make the enzymes needed to digest meat!. Humans are omnivores our livers can produce the needed enzymes to digest meat!. Vegetarian is a word created to discribe humans who choose not to eat meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because they are omnivores that choose to not eat meat!. Omnivore, herbivore and carnivore are a species designation, not individuals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Herbivore refers to animals who are biologically adapted to consume only plant life!. Vegetarian refers to human beings who choose not to consume meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
