Does the matador and his friends eat the bull after killing it?!

Question: Does the matador and his friends eat the bull after killing it!?
Who gets the carcass after they are done torturing the animal to death!? Are the steaks and wotnots tastier because they have been pulverised or does this lead to bruising!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It's a part of their culture, you can't blame em!.

Just like most countries in south america have chicken fighting!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

the carcass goes to the butcher and if you look at the grounds there is a building out by the corrals where the butcher does their work!.the bull is washed and then butchered, the ranch gets the pelt and the head, some of the Choice cuts are sent to local restaurants that specialize in bull meat and even the testicles are sold for food, the rest is either donated or sold to other butchers for their shops to sell!.sometimes the matadores (toreros) will have some of the meat but they prefer to stick to their strict diet!.there are several different types of bullfighting done around the world and not all of them involves killing the bull in the ring, some like Portuguese bullfighting kill the bull out of public view others like french and rodeo bullfighting do not kill the bulls at all!.spanish bulls (toro bravos) are extremely dangerous on their own but also have learning abilities and will learn the moves of the matadores and will ignore the "capote" which makes them very dangerous after one time in the ring and there is a law that no bull can be used in the ring twice!.

edit: as Carousel said there is a change in the attitude where bullfighting is done and the reason it is still done in spain is because of the tourist trade and the lost revenue if they do away with it,i personally find that the iberian bull (toro bravo) is one of the most magnificent creatures in the world and i would hate to see them become extinct because of a lack of a need for them!.

dana here is a good picture(warning it will make men have a natural reaction)

Someone said " At least the bull has a chance to fight for himself"!. Well, that's not the case!. The bull has no chance once he steps into the ring!.

Why is this question on here!. I live in Spain and there are debates going on all over Spain as to it's cruelty!. It is a dying culture over here, but this is not the forum to discuss it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the bull may have a chance (unfair but a chance i guess) to fight for himself!.!.but even if he wins and takes out the metador!.!.they still kill the bull in the end!.!. so i think this is a very sick culture if you ask me,Www@FoodAQ@Com

it's not worse than what happens everyday in Western slaughterhouses!. At least the bull has a chance to fight for himself!. And yes, they do eat the bull if they kill it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

From what I understand, the animals are donated to orphanages around the town!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Of-course they doWww@FoodAQ@Com

they donate it to needy families in the town!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
