Question: I know this has probably been asked before but!?
I'm a vegetarian now and one day I want to be vegan!. Other than of course, milk, cheese, butter, & eggs what else would I cut out!?
Yeast!? Can someone give me just like a list of things to look for in the "ingredients" section!?

You would be wanting to stop wearing leather, too!. Or wool!. Or silk!. Plus you'd want to steer clear of any foods & other products containing gelatin, lanolin, rennet, whey, casein, beeswax, isinglass, or shellac!.

And yes, yeast is "little critters", so that's out!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're also supposed to abstain from eating honey!. Basically if an animal was involved somewhere along the process, you're not supposed to eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

casein and lactic acid!. Yeasts are part of the fungi kingdom!. They are not animalsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Lactic acid is usually vegan AFAIK!. It is made by bacteria!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Whey!. Egg whites!. Honey!. Gelatin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you give up yeast, no more yummy multi-grain bread for you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

veganism isnt enough!.!.!.raw food is the way to goWww@FoodAQ@Com
