All raw fruit and vegetables are high in antioxidants!. People worry about protein and calcium, you get plenty of that, it's antioxidants we need to worry about!.

I think first thing people need to understand is how to tell how rich a fruit or vegetable is in antioxidants!. There are over 10,000 antioxidants!.
You need to buy produce for its color!. Darker bluer or purples it is, better it is for you!. The color must be more than the skin it has to be flesh also!.
Purple carrot is better than red carrot is better than yellow carrot etc!.
The blueberries are the best among most of the berries!.
Fruits and vegetables have vitamins minerals antioxidants and enzymes!.
Enzymes are destroyed when cooked!. So, you must eat raw produce!. Antioxidants such as Lycopene get better when cooked, so fruits must be cooked when looking for antioxidants but some antioxidants such as Vitamin C are destroyed in water and air when cooked!. Antioxidants are relatively a new subject among nutritionist started out in 1990s!. In the olden days everything was classified in to a vitamin!. Now we know Vitamin C is actually an antioxidant
I am sure, it wil be taught in school!. First we need a uniform position among nutritionist how to go about it!. You can not just list 10,000 antioxidants and say hey here we are learn they are good for you!. In my opinion we should settle on about six food colors and then teach them Blue Purple Red Green Orange Yellow!. This wil help categorize antioxidants and then the subject can be taught with some uniformity!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I learned this the hard way when I had acne and had to make a diet change to get my skin clear!.

I was very stubborn and a picky eater and would never touch healthy foods!. But I eat lots of raw fruit now and I think fruit is a miracle food!. I feel way more alive and energetic, and it leaves me more fulfilled than the junk I used to eat!. also my skin is more clear and smooth as long as I eat lots of antioxidants!.

usually its the food that contains antioxidants that contains minerals/vitamins

some vitamins are also functioning antioxidants like ascorbic acid (vitamin c)!.

they go hand in hand anyway, eat a balanced diet, enjoy food!.
i wouldnt enjoy eating all raw food so i dont do that!. i eat hot and cold food!. make sensible choices and dont eat potato chips all day - only once in a while!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

the wonder isw not in modern medicine but in fresh fruit and veg!.!.!.look at our grandparents they made it to 80 maybe even 90!.!.!.people are dying at 20!! wheres the modern medicine to help then!.
