I would like to become a vegetarian?!


Question: I would like to become a vegetarian!?
does anybody have any tips, concerns, encouraging words, or words of wisdom that I should know!. I am 16, and I have a job, so getting any food that I might need is not a huge problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

OMG! I am also a vegetarian!. At first it's kinda hard to go all veg!. So just progresivly start subtracting meat from your diet!. Some people think that being a vegetarian is a major lifestyle change!. But you can still eat everthing you used to i!.e chocolatte, just not meat!. There are different types of vegetarians, full vegetarians (no meat) or part vegetarians (very little meat)!. Some words of advice are that just do what you want to do!. I think it's great that you would like to become a vegetarian, just do it for the right reason!. Don't do it to "fit in" or to impress somebody!. Do it because you want to, do it because you care about animals, do it because you feel that that's the lifestyle that fits youWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you really like meat, then I don't bother!. It's just forcing yourself to do something you don't really wanna do!. (I'm gonna wait and see how many thumbs downs I get for saying that xD)

It's easy really!. Watch out for gelatin and rennet, gelatin is found in sweets ect, rennet is found in cheese sometimes!. Check things for a V sign on packaging!. A lot of products don't say if they are suitable in which case you have to read the ingredients!. The only thing I find is that I sometimes feel awkward!. For example, eating at other peoples houses and they are having meat or something and you can't eat it!.

Oh and try quorn, its good if it is cooked right!. Quorn sausages are the best!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is something I decided to do as well back in July!. It was a little tricky at first, but has gotten easier as time goes on!. You just have to be more selective about where you go eat!. It's not as easy to just to run to Wendy's or McDonalds when you are hungry :-) For me, I pack my lunches more often!. I love Whole Foods!. They have a ton of great products! Www@FoodAQ@Com
