Is organic fruits and vegatable expensive to buy?!

Question: Is organic fruits and vegatable expensive to buy!?
Answers:
They are more expensive if you buy them from a regular grocery store!. But if you can get them from a farmers market or co-op then they are about the same price!. I order all mine from a co-op and usually pay around $1 per pound depending on the item!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sometimes!. Farmer' markets or co-ops are your best bests for lower prices!.

There was a great article in Time a while ago about how it's actually better, both for the environment and your body to eat local food over organic!. It takes gas to get food from far away, and nutrients degrade from the moment for food is picked!.

Yeah you can expect to pay 30 % + more!. Not everything you buy needs to be organic just the ones that use more chemicals etc!.

for example strawberries, a lot of chemicals used to produce them!.

Yes it is more expensive!. It should be cheaper because they don't need to use pesticides, on the other hand, it won't last as long, so it rots quicker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

More expensive than "non-organic" fruits and veggies coz they are also more expensive to grow (supposedly!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yep!. Anything organic or "natural" is costly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
