Can any of you turn me off chocolate?!

Question: Can any of you turn me off chocolate!?
I was a vegan for about 2 years until the other day a friend of mine convinced me to try a piece of chocolate (I was tipsy at the time)!. Since then I've eaten chocolate every day without fail!. I'm just constantly craving it!. Prior to this I could think of chocolate and imagine the fat and disgusting milk that had gone into it!. This isn't working right now!.

Can anyone help!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

good for you being a vegan!!! im working my up to that :) [im only 12 now] but im proud to say i havent eaten a burger in about a year, :)

well , maybe you could find a!.!.err!.!.!.'replacement' you could say for chocolate!. or maybe something that doesnt mix well with the taste of chocolate!. i believe i didn't eat chocolate for quite some time once when i had it with sparkling water because i was turned off by the taste of the two together!. and i dont think beer would taste well with it nor wine!.!.but i've never had etheir of them before so i wouldn't take my word for it!. and for a replacement you could try something else sweet that you're fond for!. you could say i had a obsession over ice cream awhile back [eww! i know]but my mother shook me out of it by giving me snacks like nuts and stuff to give me a different craving rather than ice cream and fell for raisins :] MUCH healthier then ice cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No need to give it up!.!.!.as long as you're not eating a whole bar every day, chocolate certainly isn't going to kill you!. :) Find a vegan dark chocolate bar(s) that you like!. Here's a few of the more common brands: Tropical Source, Green & Black's, Newman's Own, Endangered Species, and many more!. Not every bar by all of these companies is vegan though, so you still have to read ingredients!. Most of them use shared equipment too, if you have a problem with that!. As a bonus, most of them are also fair trade certified!. :) There is also a vegan "milk" chocolate bar out there!. I think the one I tried was by Tofutti!. I wasn't too impressed though!. The texture was kinda weird, plus I've never been a big fan of milk chocolate anyway!. My personal favorites are Green & Black's Maya Gold, and the Endangered Species espresso bar!.!.!.I think it's the Tiger!. Green & Black's 70% cocoa is awesome too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

they do have REALLY good vegan chocolate!. I buy this brand (soorry i can't remember it!) but its at whole foods and is imported from iceland!. Its in a white package lol!. its 35% cocoa so it tastes very sweet and milky (vegan tho)!. I would just spend some time in the candy isle and go thro trial and error untill you find a good vegan chocolate and stick with that! i know its tempting, i went on a non-vegan chocolate tear a couple months ago, then i found a good brand!.

Your body probably needs the omegas that are found in chocolate!. Eat walnuts they are rich in the omegas and go to the health food store to get a supplement for now!. Flaxseed is also a good source for the omegas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

mildred is right!. a certain amount of "bug parts" is allowed in chocolate because they just can't control it 100%!.

so there are bugs in your chocolate!.!.!. and as a vegan you might not like that as bugs could be considered "meat"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
