Vegans: What on earth do you guys eat?!
I would like to move from vegetarian to vegan, but what do you guys eat on a daily basis!? I notice there is a lot of breads, pastas, and sugars, that i personally am not too fond of eating that often!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i hardly ever eat breads, pastas, or sugars!. the only bread i eat on a regular basis is pita bread!. sometimes i eat cereal, maybe once every two weeks!. pasta i eat maybe once a month!. and the only sugars i get come from fruit and the occasional luna bar!. i am by no means a good example, just a collegiate vegan raging through his cafeteria!. i consume a lot of steamed vegetables, hummus, green apples, bananas, spinach, smeed, mujarada, and tabouli!. if i'm lucky i get a baked potato! i get a baked potato tonight!! MMMMMMMMM

Try this:
Delicious crispy but tender chickpea cutlets topped with a savory marinara sauce or a sauteed zucchini ragout!. serve with sauteed kale or collards with caramelized onions, Bragg's, sea salt & pepper!. - this kicks serious butt
or this
sauteed collard greens and crispy shallots with black eyed peas!. Serve with or without rice!.!. maybe a slice of hemp healthy bread!. top with tofutti vegan sour cream (not the hydrogenated one!) and optional hot sauce - vegan delite
- mold up some delicious black bean and carrot patties - bake until golden and top it with your own tomatillo sauce!. its so good it should be illegal!.
= for breakfast spread some raw organic almond butter on some toasted organic buckwheat waffles and top with highest quality maple syrup!.
- lunch - toast up some organic seed/nut/veg burgers!. you can get them at whole foods!. its good not to load up on too much soy!. some people are intolerant and it is fairly processed!. anyway!. top that bad boy with half of a ripe avocado, serve on toasted whatever with vegan mayo, ketchup and jalapenos if you like!. enjoy with some kettle baked chips (barbeque are the best)

I don't eat much bread or pasta (maybe once a week as some spaghetti thing)!.!.!. I sway from sugars cuz well I am losing weight from being vegan and wanna keep it that way, but i occasionally make like cookies and brownies and stuff at home from recipes on the web!.!.!. I don't eat tofu because personally i hate the texture and it tastes like play dough!.!.!. But I drink soy milk which is good, really thick though!.!.!.

Mexican food (minus cheese and sour cream)

You don't have to live of carbs to become vegan!. Carbs aren't bad in moderation!. A mix of beans, nuts, legumes, seeds, heaps of fruit and veg, tofu, soy milk, and breads and pastas (in moderation) is what makes up most vegan diets!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
