Drain the water, rise the lentils, add more water and cook some more!. I do this two or three times during the cooking process!. It makes a world of difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

With lentils, I find that if you soak them like you would beans (8 hours, or overnight) then rinse them and change the water before you cook them, they make you less farty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
