Is eating regular meals REALLY that neccessary?!


Question: Is eating regular meals REALLY that neccessary!?
I know I don't eat regular meals a day, I constantly graze!.
On a normal day I can go through 5-10 serves of veggies, 3-7 serves of fruit plus a serving of bread and a serving of wheat and a serve of nuts!.
BUT I am not eating breakfast lunch and dinener I am just eating fruit and veggies whenever I feel the need!.
Is that bad for my body to be constantly grazing or is it okay!?
9I don't eat junk food AT all, there is NO trans fats in my diet, I eat a vegan diet based mostly on veggies and fruit)!.
Like today, I woke up I had some wheat bran with rice milk, then an apple a little later, then a banana, I just had some corn, I've drank about three glasses of water and a multivitamin!. I don't really feel hungry like that, I will just be like "Hmm, I feel like corn, and I eat it" I don't get bloated and I don't get hungry, I'm just always satisfied!.
No peaks or plummets, I wake up and am a little hungry but after that no real changes (unless I've been excessively exercising, then I might feel hungry about half an hour later)!.
And I normally stop eating at about 6 PM since I just don't feel the need to eat anymore!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Constant grazing is fine if it works for you better than regular meals, but it sounds to me like you're not getting nearly enough protein if that's your typical daily diet!. You want to cut back a bit on the fruits (2-4 servings) and veggies (3-5 servings) and increase whole grains to 6-11 servings, and legumes, seeds and nuts to 2-3 servingsWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you were eating like 99!.9% of the population I'd say yes!. But heck you eat very healthy!. Nothing wrong with your eating habits!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

as long as you get the things you need its fine!.!.it is better to eat small meals every few hours than eat 3 big onesWww@FoodAQ@Com

Not really!.!.!. but what meal times are not just for "eating"!.!. it's also a time to bond or socialize with friends, family etc!.!. besides when people are actually being productive and busy with work or school etc, that's the best schedule to follow!.!. eat something before you start (breakfast), eat something in the middle to get you going (lunch) then eat something to replenish what you've used up or lost (supper)!.!.!.

And not all people have the luxury of having something to eat if and when they feel hungry!.!.!. ever hear kids saying "ma i'm hungry!.!.!. wait!.!. we re having (fill in meal time here) in a few minutes!.!.!.!. or " i wish I had some (fill in food here)!.!.!. but I don't have money!.!.!."Www@FoodAQ@Com
